Haitink interview
« on: February 23, 2022, 04:36:09 AM »
The RCO is presenting a nearly hour-long program featuring interviews with Bernard Haitink, available until March 4:

One point of interest: Maestro Haitink said that in the late '60s, Philips asked him to record a complete Mahler cycle over the following two years. He told them that he could do only one Mahler symphony each year.

That's an extremely long link, and it won't work.  Could you please go to http://www.tinyurl.com and copy that link there to shorten it so that the rest of us can access it?  Thanks.

Sorry, try this one:

The interview was featured on the RCO's FB page. For the shorter link, I used "copy link text" instead of "copy link address," in the Vivaldi browser.
