Title: Holy Smokes! - if you want a fast M7 in good sound, here's Petrenko.

If f you want thoroughly fast M7 from start to finish, here you go. Somehow, it doesn't strike me as being quite as interesting as Kondrashin/Concertgebouw, or even Kondrashin/Moscow Something-or-Another. Anyway, it's party time! https://open.spotify.com/album/1BpAs11mGxz0XFec2sqHGG?si=u0T_yHQbQsiP7IsP-26dvA

.    .   .    However, as Eric pointed out already, there are almost no deep bells or cowbells at the end of the finale. What were they doing back there?!?

I skimmed this one and thought it was quite decent. I think if I wanted a quick M7 I'd still reach for Stenz or Gergiev, but I like this one just fine. It's definitely missing that percussion at the very end.

Exactly; so it sort of misses the whole point of the entire symphony! I won't be buying this one.
