What's the story behind the 'new" M6 by Bernstein/NYPO on Sony?

If you go to the German Amazon site and search for "Esprit" in music, you will get a whole series of CDs with the same cover design as the Bernstein M6.  I believe it is a budget CD series and the old Sony Bernstein M6 is just one of the many discs represented..
