the Exton/PSO deal must really be dead (or is it?)

Who knows, maybe Exton was getting some of their funding from the Japanese government. I've noticed that they're not issuing any more of Inbal's Mahler with the Czech Phil. either. Either M7 or M5 was the last one in that cycle. Instead, Inbal is recording more Mahler back in Japan (which aren't bad by any means).

Anyway, the Pittsburgh deal must have really gone south. ALTHOUGH, the PSO site claims that the 9th is going to be recorded by Exton. Maybe the PSO is looking for corporate sponsorship, which is something that I don't think EXTON has bothered with in the past (there's never any credit on the discs).

OK, that's that. It's really a shame.   :-[
