New Sony Bernstein Box?

Anyone know if these are remastered from the Japanese SACs, or what?

I would guess this is just a repackaging of the so-called "Carnegie Hall Set" ©2009, which was directly taken from the DSD masters made by Adreas K. Meyer for the Japanese SA-CD releases. I can't believe Sony would have bothered—or felt any need—to remaster this set yet again. What could possibly be gained by it, so close on the heels of the very successful 2009 set?

Thanks, James, for the information.  Do you know if these are sonically as good as the Japanese SACD versions?  They sure are a heckuva lot cheaper!

When I clicked on the link, I was also presented with a slew of Sony repackaged sets at bargain prices that I have not seen before. In addition to the Lenny set, I saw:

Walter conducts Mahler(!)--$24.99
Leinsdorf Conducts Beethoven 9 Symphonies--$22.99
Wagner Ring Cycle by Janowski--$38.54
Stokowski Stereo Collection (includes M2)--$45.68

...and many more!

Looks like some cool budget reissues from Sony!
