Macal/CPO/Exton M6th - my impression

I finally heard the Macal M6 this morning...and IT IS INCREDIBLE!  John reviewed all the best points already...all I can add is that this M6 took my breath away in practically every bar, and the Finale is one of the most exciting realized on disk.

I am glad you confirmed my positive impression. I've listened to the recording over 10 times now but I am not tired of hearing it. It's that good ;D

Funny, but Macal's timings for M6 are nearly identical to Neumann's last round on Canyon. I think that the finale was just a tad slower under Neumann - the scherzo just a tiny tad shorter.
