It doesn't say what this really is though.
John,

I'll have to pass, because I don't have a blu-ray :'(...but I saw this too, and I'm curious.

It would seem that Alexander Jero's 7.1 HD-masters are very good indeed, although not much can be found on the subject. His former site, www. surroundmagic.com, isn't available anymore. There a quite a few new releases coming up (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Ddvd&field-keywords=new+dimension+sound (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Ddvd&field-keywords=new+dimension+sound)), which may be very interesting.
But I'm not too sure about these... where does the 'Alexander Jero presentation' come in, and who are the performers?
So, if anyone knows more about these, I'm curious!

It is probably along the lines of Mahler: Symphony # 2 Conducted by Oleg Caetani (http://www.amazon.com/MAHLER-Symphonie-Resurrection-Experience-3-Dimensional/dp/B002CBJEVQ/ref=sr_1_2?s=gateway&ie=UTF8&qid=1285437563&sr=8-2). Jero apparently takes existing multichannel masters and remasters them for multichannel Blu-ray audio only discs.
The Caetani M2 was already acclaimed for its sound as a redbook CD. The Blu-ray probably sounds great. However, I know next to nothing of the Caetani recording, which uses a fairly unknown orchestra.
