I listened to the M10 and M9:I. Based on this concert, I wouldn't hold a high expectation for the upcoming Gergiev/LSO/LSO M9th SACD. :-\

As usual, the LSO is terrific but IMO Gergiev doesn't seem to have a good grasp on the piece. "There's too much stop-and-go going on but I hear little cogency or organic sense" would be my verdict.
