Title: Conductors on Mahler--Interviews
Post by: Jot N. Tittle on June 11, 2011, 09:47:36 PM
There are video interviews with 26 conductors of Mahler available at http://mahler.universaledition.com/ (http://mahler.universaledition.com/), including the texts. Included are Blomstedt, Boulez, Chailly, Eschenbach, Gergeiv, Jansons, Mehta, Nagano, Nott, Rattle, Salonen, Tilson-Thomas, Welser-Moest, Zinman, and others. I believe all are asked the same questions. An interesting archive.

Should it have gone on Mahler Web Resources thread, a 'sticky' thread at the top of page 1?

Problem is, you don't know how long these interviews will stick on universaledition.com, otherwise I agree with Ivor.
