Carol Rosenberger issued a letter to retailers, stating that Delos is going to move forward on a number of projects that have been "in the can" for a long while; one of them being the Andrew Litton/Dallas Symphony Mahler 8 that happened years ago. If they caught it in good sound, it should be outstanding. With the exception of the so-so singing of Heidi Grant Murphy, Litton's M4 on Delos is my absolute favorite of any.

Woo Hoo! This is great news!
Now, how do we get them to issue it in SACD (assuming it was a DSD recording). How do we get them to reisuue the M4 and M10 in SACD? Those were definitely DSD recordings.

Yes, this would have been an outstanding M4th if it had not been for her singing. She sounds as if her voice was under stress during the recording. But everything else is just downright perfect, on a par with Litton/DSO M10th.
