Title: M8 in Aspen / August 19

Note that Robert Spano will conduct M8 in the closing concert of the Aspen Music Festival on August 19. I'm going, and it will be quite a pilgrimage.

I'm not familiar with any of the soloists, but Duane Wolfe leads the CSO Chorus.

Not to sound discouraging, but Vinson Cole has definitely seen better days, vocally speaking (decades, really). Yet, they keep dredging him up for Mahler 8.
