Title: An Ormandy/Philadelphia M3?

I remember reading years ago that supposedly Eugene Ormandy and Philadelphia either recorded or were going to record a M3 at about the same they did M1 and M2 for RCA.  Was that a rumor, or was the recording made, but never released for some reason?

My vote goes with 'rumor', but that's just a semi-educated guess.

I beleive the only concert performance Ormandy ever did of the M3 was in September, 1972.
