Thanks very much for posting this, Barry. It clarifies what was going on last week in Pittsburgh: Honeck was trying out different numbers of hammer blows in preparation for the official Exton recording, which won't come from this series of concerts, but instead will be made in Vienna's Musikverein in late October and early November, during their 2012 European tour. They'll record both M6 and M2 for Exton during that week.

Cool - does that mean we can post bets in Vegas as to how many strokes the recording will have?
Actually, I'm really bummed that they're going to wait to record it. If they were such great performances, why wait until Wien?

Well I'll be! Quite fitting that M2 should be performed in Vegas to allow individuals to "reform" themselves! ;D
