This is going to be distributed by Naxos, and it's a late February release. Sounds pretty good to me. I particularly like the fast tempo for the start of the scherzo. I like Luisi.

Have you heard his M1? M6 sounds good on the samples, will listen to it on the naxos music library site to get more of an idea.

I have the dvd of Luisi doing M1 with the Dresden Staatskapelle, and I think it's positively terrific. However, that's as much for the Dresden factor as for Fabio. Maybe more.

I'm guessing that Luisi's M2 was recorded in the Leipzig Gewandhaus (?).

I've listened to some of the M6 on the naxos music libarary, i'm not entirely convinced on 1st hearing there are some fairly odd tempo changes in the slow movement, but i'll give it another listen.

It has a great scherzo, but I still only gave it a three star review. My review is the second one down.
