I've got their 2nd and 4th arriving in the mail today. If they are as good as the 8th, I will be very happy.

Me too. When it gets released in the U.S., I'm going to have The Musical Offering order it for me, and one for the store.

Is there any chance those Chailly recordings will get a CD release?

I think it's pretty unlikely. I think Chailly may still have a contract with Decca, but I seriously doubt that they'd commit to issuing more Mahler from him. The major record labels are pretty Mahlered-out at this point.
