A good one, now for a budget price. The new one is Hengelbrock's, and it is pretty exciting. My favourite (normal) M1 is Iván Fischer's. Bigbig music :)

I have this de Vriend disc. It's a very good recording of the 1st. Light, articulate and very youthful. This version sounds a bit heavier and not as clear as the final version. If I remember correctly, they list the difference between this version and the final in the liner notes. This is not a go to recording, at least for me, but is worth having. Especially if you've got the time to go through it with a score.
