I guess Haitink is the M3 King. Let's see . . . there are two with the Concertgebouw (one of them on dvd now); one in Berlin; a 'pirate' with the Vienna Phil. from the Concertgebouw (part of that Mahler Festival from, I think, 1995); one in Chicago, and now this one from Munich. This one appears to be nearly 102 minutes.

Finally got this. Fabulous sound quality - both clear and 'rich' - combined with almost chamber music like playing. Haitink is a tad slow in the faster spots of the first and third movements. Overall, though, I do like this one more than his previous Chicago one. I plan to pick up the Kerstmatinee one on dvd sometime soon (it's cheap).
