Only a couple of movements from the Macal/C.P.O. M3 can be heard at Spotify and on Youtube. If any of you own a copy, or have listened all the way through it, how is the big brass chorale towards the end of the finale? . . . Is it intense, or it just sort of gossamer and pretty? . . . . Groove Lands is selling their remaining copies for less than $12. Is it worth my buying a copy? . . . . I'm a big fan of the Kobayashi/C.P.O. M3, but that one has completely disappeared. I only have a 'burnt' CD copy of it.

The following link lists it as available as of March 7, 2025. But it doesn't show timings.

Sorry John, I'm asking about the Zdenek Macal/C.P.O. M3 on Exton. I'm hopeful that Bychkov's new one won't be as expansive (slow) overall as is earlier Cologne one was.

I do have the Macal/CPO/Exton M3rd. What are your questions? You have the recording too, don't you?

It's all a moot point now, as Grooves-Land (wherever they are) has just dispatched my copy in the mail. I'll find out soon enough. I heard the whole thing once somewhere, but couldn't find it again. I'd like to collect more of the Macal/C.P.O. series (not quite a full cycle).
