I must admit I'm a bit Mahlered-out, I haven't listened to a M symphony for a month or so, or even to Bruckner, my other favourite.

Agreed - I've been working my way through the Beethoven symphonies. I just downloaded Eschenbach's Philadelphia cycle so that will be keeping me busy for the next few weeks.

I'm also listening to Beethoven again...
I haven't had alot of time to sit though a complete Mahler symphonie lately!!!

Oh, and I just received my vinyl of Horenstein's M3...trying to find time to hear this baby!!!

The vinyl pressings sound much better to me than the Unicorn-Kanchana CD pressings do. Enjoy.

I'm more of a reader. I enjoy reading all of your comments to various recordings most.
I'm awaiting delivery of Zinman M3, Haitink M4, Boulez M8 and MTT Klagende Lied (SACD reprint), as well as René Jacobs' performances of Le Nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni, both on SACD. If I find the time, I'll post my reviews of all of these.

Is this cycle only available on-line? Please post some comments on the performances.
