I don't believe that D.H. has heard it yet. He took the Gergiev, and asked me to do the Haitink. My guess is that he would feel very much the same way. Perhaps he's done some spot checking on it, I don't know. We both really like the Gergiev though.

At last -- a reviewer that I can trust!!!   ;D
(Okay, I also trust most of the other guys at CT)

I'll probably pass on this one until I am desperate for new Mahler.  I have the Gergiev SACD on order, and downloaded the MP3 version from eMusic.  It sounds like a real winner through the first three movements, so it will be my Mahler fix until the S-M M10 arrives in a couple of weeks.
