Title: timings for Haitink/CSO M3 coming out
Post by: barry guerrero on April 12, 2007, 04:17:49 AM
OK, I was surfin' the web; and lo and behold, I stumbled upon these Haitink M3 timings at the Japanese Tower Records website. Bear in mind, this has nothing to do with the old Tower Records - the name was simply franchised a long time ago. Anyway, it appears that the Japanese might be getting the Haitink/CSO M3 before anyone else. It shows up at the HMV.JP site as well. Here goes:

Looks pretty good!

A Mahler 3rd from CSO would be a real treat.

John,

I like those 1983 timings the best. I need to hear that one.

Under 25' in the finale and under 10' in the second movement.  Looks promising!
