Title: Jansons/BRSO M9th SACD is clearly better than the redbook CD.
Post by: John Kim on June 15, 2018, 07:08:32 AM
I ordered Jansons/BRSO M9 SACD from Japan and it arrived yesterday. My verdict so far on the SACD is very positive. The differences - improvements - over the redbook CD are subtle but sufficient enough to tip my choice to the SACD version. It's not just the higher resolution but the enhanced remixing that gives it the edge. Instruments are better integrated and balanced each other and I hear more details.

The SACD is available for purchase only in Japan.

How does it compare with the Esoteric Bernstein (which I used to own)?
