I've been listening to this SACD.
It' really an excellent performance and recording as well, but as I wrote you need to turn up the volume way up and increase the treble a bit. Once the things get set properly, the details will come out clearly with a good impact. It's really unfair to LSO that most of their recordings nowadays must be made at the Barbican church.
It simply cannot do the full justice to the orchestra, one of the three greatest Mahler orchestras in the world.
