Dudamel/L.A. Phil. M8 sounds better at Spotify

Part I sounds great at Spotify. The big double fugue is remarkably clarified. I also like his handling of the reiteration of "Veni, Veni Creator Spiritus", which is technically the start of the recap (but really the climax of the fugue). The orchestral playing is fine in Part II, but the cast of vocalists really isn't one of the better ones. The tenor is particularly disappointing, I think. That's in addition to Dudamel's surprisingly detached and neutral sounding end to Part II. Put Dudamel's Part I to N-S.'s Part II and I think you'd really have something satisfying.
