Having listened to samples, I don't have that same eager anticipation that followed sampling M6 and M7.
Anyone do and feel likewise?
What a difference sample source makes. I've listened again to
JPC M8 Samples and
Amazon.de M8 Samples and get a completely different (positive) feeling about this M8 recording listening to the JPC site vs. the German Amazon site. Not only are the Amazon samples at different places (e.g. Part II No. 14), they are much more 'dense'. The JPC samples are open and have more clarity. Lesson learned: I won't put too much stock in the samples any more.
