I was fortunate to finally hear this recording this week.  The whole performance is excellent, but for me the highlight is the phenomenal first movement. The marches are superbly done, but the huge ecstatic climaxes are wrung out to heavenly lengths. Although the live sound is tolerable, I wish Martinon would've made a studio version.  If he had Solti era sound, this one could've been even better.  Thanks to the board for locking me on to this, even though it took me years to finally hear it.
