For those of you who don't have the Exton cd, you can hear the entire S/M version of Mahler 10 (Martin Sieghart) on Youtube. I didn't post any links because it's broken up over a series of entries. Just go to Youtube and entire "Mahler 10 Samale Mazzuca" in the search box. I imagine that "Mahler Sieghart" would work also.
If you don't know this version, I think you owe it to yourself to hear it. Skip the first movement, as it's never that different. The back-half of the last movement is particularly good. So is the ending to the first scherzo (2nd movement). I like the S/M "Purgatorio" as well. Take some time and check this out. I think it may still may be my favorite version so far.
