CD coming of van Zweden/Dallas S.O. M3
« on: February 07, 2016, 08:58:01 AM »
You can listen to the entire performance at this site. It received rave reviews in the Dallas press. Ms. O'Connor was a substitute for somebody, but she sounds OK. The great principal trombone of the N.Y. Philharmonic, Joe Alessi, played principal trombone in this performance! (he's the outrageous trombone soloists on the Bernstein/DG M3, and the Alan Gilbert/NYPO M3). It's being released to retail on March 11 and I plan to buy one.

I own the van Zweden/DSO M6 and really like it.

You can listen to the entire performance at this site.

How did you hear the entire performance? I could only find a forty-second YouTube posting of the opening bars.
