I've just lashed another pound or two on Kondrashin's M7. Kondy reminds me,in one sense,of Toscanini. He's alive in every bar.    [Umlike Charles Bukowski.IMO.]   ???

Which Kondy M7 did you buy, the Melodiya or Tahra version?

Hi leo,and incidentally,we're online simult.

It's the melodiya that I'm awaiting.

His M6 on Melodiya th't I bought (prefer that to 'purchased !) recently is terrific.

It's very good. I wish that the first two movements were just a tad slower. But from the scherzo on, I'm quite happy with the fast tempi. It's well worth adding to your collection.
