status of Bychkov/CPO Mahler cycle.

I heard that Bychkov's Mahler cycle will continue with a M3rd in March 2025. The rest (6-9) of the cycle will be released in a box set in 2026.

I'll probably end up getting the box anyway, but I really hope that the 6‒9 do become available individually.

Is it just me, or does the classical recording market seem quieter lately?

Erik,

No, you are not alone in that. The classical music market has been declining. Sigh ...

John, when you say "I heard", what precisely does that mean?     .   .    .

Barry,

Someone posted so on Semyon Bychkov's FB. I don't know how accurate the information is though. However, that M3rd will be the next installment seems to correct info.
