I think you're a tad more optimistic about this release than I am, John. But we won't know until we DO know. What I'm looking forward to in M3 is an eventual release from Paavo Jarvi/Zurich Tonhalle. I have the DVD of Paavo doing it with the Frankurt Radio S.O., and like it very much. And we already know the Tonhalle folks can really play the work.

I LIKE Bychkov's earlier recording with WDR SO Koln very much. So, naturally I have a high expectation of this release. For one thing, timings of the two M3rds are very similar to each other.
