Don't expect too much, as I think this was captured on somebody's smart phone. Notice that Rattle has completely changed his tempo after the chorus cuts out. I hate it when the cymbals sound before the tam-tam does though (next to the last unison stroke - near the end). Still, with the stellar cast employed, this must have been quite a performance.

Sorry to tell you, Barry, but this isn't Simon Rattle, nor is it the Berlin Philharmonic playing (at least not under the link provided in your post). Actually, this is from a concert given by one of Berlin's university orchestras (the Collegium Musicum of the Freie Universität) - entirely composed of amateur musicians. :-)
