Munich Transportation Museum (M8)
« on: April 04, 2012, 06:39:49 PM »
I will be hitting Munich on my upcoming three week trip.  Anyone been to the Munich Transportation Museum (Hall 1) where the M8 was premiered? (link below).

The basic shape and window structure of the building appears to be unchanged.  Is there any plaque on the building?  Is not, there should be!

I was there in September 2010.  At the time of my visit, the museum was unfortunately closed.  The main entrance is still being, or already has been restored to the configuration as it was in Mahler's day.  I didn't see any plaque on the building commemorating the premiere.

The dentist had pretty much done his work by the time I got there.   ;D
