A great recording by all accounts, I can easily settle for the Lenny/ISP/Helicon.

One minor glitch: At the end of the second climax (or the first collapse) in I., I don't hear the timpani roll. I think it's completely missing.

I think there are a number of small glitches in this performance, but nothing that hindered the enjoyment of it for me. At least the trombones aren't missing at the climax of the last movement!!!

I just clicked 'yes'.

This is all together an amazing performance, similar to the RCO/DG recording but better recorded and in some ways better played. The Tanglewood BSO concert was great too, although the sonics are so and so, and BSO makes a few noticeable mistakes in I. Both the great performances and an ideal M9th in my book. However, the superior sound tips my recommendation towards the IPO version.
