Holy... wow. And I thought Tilson Thomas' was too long at ~25 mins.

A M4 total time of 69:47

Leave it to Leif Segerstam to make Mahler's 4th as long as the 5th. Let's see if he can one-up Klemperer with M7. His Chandos M7 was already 1hr 28mins.

Anyone know how long Segerstam's M4 on Chandos was? I'm assuming this new one is longer.

The timings of Segerstam's M4 on Chandos are listed as:

I. 11:18
II. 10:32
III. 22:38
IV. 10:11

11:18 for the first movement must be a mistake.

Even so, I want to hear a M4/I at 11:18  ;D

(that’s supposed to be a laughing-out-loud face)

Sorry—my fingers (or my brain) slipped. Movement I is 18:11. :o

It was a typo. The correct timing is 21'39".

Whew. I mean, I wanted to hear a 29’ adagio just to know what it sounds like, but I’m more inclined to check out the recording now that it’s less perverse.
