LSO plays with far more Mahlerian idiomacy and panache than BPO. This is an orchestra with the long tradition of performing Mahler under Horenstein, Solti, and MTT, to name a few, and it shows.

I'll bet this is very good. I do like the really slow one he did with the BPO that's including their own Mahler box with mixed conductors. It's rather Giulini like.
