Writing this in a rush over breakfast before work.
I agree with you it's difficult, and it's subjective.
When people ask on various sites for the 50 greatest ever films, albums, guiarists, novels, short stories, songs, people seem to just answer. They seem not to discuss the question, or comment on the aesthetic questions involved. However difficult and subjective. They even write things like 'such-snd-such a single, drummer IS better/the best .........' (my capitals); they are bold.
Despite difficulties, I'd really, really like it if people could be as bold with the question I've raised.
If you want to say more about why giving an answer isn't possible, I'll still be all ears.
