Title: Das Klagende Lied with Prague Symphony and Josef Veselka
Post by: sbugala on July 31, 2021, 03:58:21 AM
Hey, Friends:

Has anyone heard this recording of the two part version of Das Klagende Lied? I guess it strikes me as being under the radar, since I can’t find a review or mention of it. YouTube lists it as being from the early 70s, on Supraphon.

I haven't heard of it either. The only two part versions I know are the two Boulez ones.

The earlier Boulez is the three part version.  Haitink recorded the two part version with the Concertgebouw.

I had the chorus master listed, the conductor is actually Herbert Ahlendorf.
