I'm with you on this one. But, that trombone section with Dodson, Alessi, and Kleinhammer was one the best ever. Interesting side note, those 3 trombonists, along with Roger Blackburn 4th/utility trumpet, formed a barber shop quartet and competed. Joe Alessi talks about it on a couple of different brass podcasts.
