I agree with pretty much everything you said, and I'm not just saying that. And as I stated before, I do wish the bells were more prominent after the final choral climax, but the moment is glorious enough with the full organ that it's an agreeable tradeoff. Adam Fischer is also quite audible sometimes on the podium, something than bothers me no matter who is conducting. I only noticed the grunting with headphones though, and the noises can also be heard in his Das Lied and M7 (end of the first movements of both). It's a petty complaint, I know. It's not as bad as Jansons or Jonathan Nott, who sounds like he's in a boxing match in every recording. Same with the Barenboim / CSO M5.
