Hi folks. Here's a link to buying the download of Dudamel's Berlin M3 through Presto Classical.  Is it worth paying the four extra dollars - which ain't much! - to get the "lossless" 48 kHz, 24 bit download?   .    .   Thank you in advance.

Barry,

Please check your personal messages.

It's a very satisfying account: solid bass foundation, clear counterpoint throughout, and a sixth-movement climax that's as thrilling as any I've heard. Powerful and committed playing. There are some double-strikes as the two timpanists try to synchronize their parts at the very end, but this is not uncommon in live performance and is easily overlooked (unless you're a timpanist).
"We cannot see how any of his music can long survive him."
Henry Krehbiel, New York Tribune obituary of Gustav Mahler
