These are pretty brief, so you can't tell much of anything.

I attended this concert. It's Jansons being, well, Jansons. Thankfully the RCO decided not to continue with their RCO Live label.

It's out now.  You can listen to the whole thing, albeit in 30-second segments (just keep clicking the play button), at eClassical's site:

Usually I find Jansons/Concertgebouw to be the very epitome of Dave Hurwitz's "Mahler lite" description, but the 7th plays more into their wheelhouse than the other ones. For example, the woodwinds sound wonderful in the 2nd and 5th movements. This recording also clearly delineates between the guitar and mandolin. In other words, you can hear the d__n guitar! And while the finale needs more 'craziness' in the back half of it, the cowbells and deep bells are up to a full fortissimo. Better yet, the recording clearly delineates between those two sounds as well - it's not just a sonic blur. Good stuff - I may pick this up.

Overall, I still think Jansons' Oslo one may be the best of the three. Anyway,   .   .    .   Spotify:

Is it my imagination, or does the Concertgebouw tuba sound a bit fuller than normal (for them).
